Whether you are an international scrapper or a rescue operator, you need tough realistic training to keep your team safe and your operation efficient.  Petrogen instructors are hand picked from tier one rescue and military units as well as industry experts to ensure that the training you receive from us will lead to the success of your mission.       

Because the Petrogen cutting torch system is used both as an industrial tool and as a tactical tool, the doctrine we deliver combines proper technique with a common sense approach.  Through close, hands-on instruction and practical exercise on our unique training apparatus you will learn to take full advantage of the truly amazing power of the Petrogen system.

Petrogen has already trained hundreds of rescue, military, and industrial operators. As a result of this growing need Petrogen has built a new training facility which we call the Petrogen Breach Lab (PBL).  This facility is dedicated not only to training students but also to developing the future tactics and techniques for breach operators.

Petrogen has been involved with heavy technical breaching for the U.S. Department of Energy for over 25 years.  Petrogen tools were used for breaching and extrication at New York 9/11, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Haiti earthquake, as well as the most recent tragedy in Japan.  Petrogen systems are also in use around the world in highly technical fields such as mining, offshore drilling, and robotic applications.  Let us put 38 years of experience to work for you.

The Petrogen  approach to instruction is one that stresses that everyone is a student for life.  Be safe, and keep it simple.

Classes ranging from basic cutting to advanced technical breaching will be held at the Petrogen Breach Lab (PBL) with classes slated to begin in early 2012.  Custom classes are currently available by appointment, so don't hesitate to contact us.  Full course descriptions, class dates, and pricing will be available here soon so please check back.

Petrogen also offers Mobile Training Teams (MTT) which can train your people at your facility or unit.  We can accommodate units with special security certificate requirements.
