Portable Cutting System

• The Portable Cutting System (PCS) is a compact backpack unit recommend for short-term steel cutting where portability is highly important. The PCS may be small, but it packs all of the same amazing performance and capability of our larger industrial units. Cuts are clean and fast. With the steel from the cut being completely oxidized, there is no molten steel to create a spark hazard.

The 1.5 quart GASOLINE tank must only be filled with 1 quart of GASOLINE. The remaining ½ quart of empty space is needed to allow room for the 20psi pressurization. Overfilling beyond 1 quart will not allow the tank to pressurize. Cutting time is primarily limited by the OXYGEN supply. With the PCS’s 1.5 quart GASOLINE tank (1 quart of actual GASOLINE) and 23cu ft OXYGEN cylinder, the system can cut ¼” steel for about 25 minutes, 1” steel for 13 minutes, or 4” steel for 5 minutes. The unit measures 19” x 12” x 25” and is easily stored in a small compartment. The fully loaded SHIPPING WEIGHT of the system is 45lbs.
